Very nice powder coat finish. Pretty easy to assemble for a handy person. The screws are no good for metal. They are too soft. You will have to buy 25 rust proof screws or stainless screws. Then paint them if they are not black. I used a paint pen to paint them. Also I mounted the arbor on two 2' two by fours. Then leveled the arbor.

The arbor is being used to decoratively seperate the patio from the yard, with a narrow garden on each side. I love the grape and leave pattern and how they have been brushed with a bronze colored paint to stand out. The design is beautiful and the picture doesn't reflect that as well as it could. I was pleasantly surprised. The arbor is a good size and the construction seems sturdy. Disappointing factors were they used wood screws that shirred when being screwed into the metal holes. We ended up buying self-tapping screws. Unfortunately we couldn't find black ones that would fit and ended up with silver ones so I had to buy paint to cover them. On the curved part of the atbor, when one section is being attached to the other, we had to use pliers to squeeze the ends on two different sections because one piece wouldn't fit into the other properly. Also,the gate appears insecure. But once we worked out the bugs (can't help the gate) it looks beautiful assembled. Haven't anchored it yet, so can't comment on that. We've only had it about a week, so cannot comment on durablility or stability. [...]

This was a nicer quality than I had expected. The only problem I had was trying to get the screws in. It seemed as if the holes were too small or the screws too big. But once it was together I loved it!

Latch on gate will not hold gate closed, to much inward swing.

Said it was iron its not . It is also hollow .I think it is over priced I have found others that look the same or better near by home for much much cheaper and better made solid . I wish I would have waited and looked around home more before I bought it. Cause I got it for my wedding and now I'm stuck with something that is cheaply made I don't like that I paid way to much for.
