I've wanted to add an arbor to my side yard ever since I became an avid gardener. When this one came up at a fabulous price[...], I jumped at it! The plus was that my daughter and son-in-law put it all together the morning before Mother's Day, set it in cement (due to the possiblility of Florida hurricanes) and my husband planted the two coral honeysuckle vines on either side that my kids had also purchased for me. I love it and the vines are already growing. Once they go over the top, I have purchased tiny solar white lights to further enhance the look at night.Only took a short time for them to put it all together, but then, they are "Pros" at "Do it Yourself"! I would advise any one to put it in cement otherwise it could blow over in heavy winds.

Beautiful arch, decorative not usable

I had planned to use the arbor to replace a wooden one that rotted at the base due to our climate ---- we are on the coast. The previous arbor held a Lady Banksia double yellow rose on one side and an Autumn Clematis on the other. While the arch is beautiful, it will not hold up these vines, nor is it stable when we have winds. Also, even assembled, it falls apart easily.

      We needed an arch and didn't want to have to mortgage the house just to RENT it, not buy it! I hate to just throw good money after bad. So when I found simplyarbors.com I was so happy. Not only was this arch great and easy to assemble for the wedding, but afterwards I can use it elsewhere in my yard afterwards. So two uses for the price of one. I hate renting because it's like taking a match to your money. You feel empty afterwards, because you have nothing to show for it. By buying it through Simply Arbors I do have something to show for the money I spent. Everytime I see that arch in my yard, I will be reminded of my beautiful daughter, saying I do!!

        We purchased five to cover a walkway/entrance to a side yard Tai Chi Courtyard. It will support a vigorous climbing rose called Peggy Martin. They were easy to assemble and set up, creating an instant alee, one side lined by existing fence, the other lined by rolled bamboo fencing. They serve our purpose perfectly.

        fabulous arbor for growing bougainvillea

            I have bougainvillea privacy hedges growing on trellises with a walk space in between outside our pool area. I wanted the bougainvillea to connect above the walk space and form an arched opening in between the two existing bougainvillea privacy hedges. I didn't want to spend the money on something too decorative as the trellis would be covered with the plant and not seen as it grows. I just needed a structure to support the vines.

            This arbor is perfect for this purpose. It assembled easily and included plastic brackets with sleeves that you insert into the rods and then you add a screw in each bracket to secure them.

            I assembled this inside my house, carried it out and installed this by myself but I would have been a bit easier with another person helping to carry it out.

            The actual arbor is very plain looking but it's a sturdy arbor and perfect for my application. I love the results and I now have a charming arched walkway in between my bougainvillea hedges.

            Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
