There were no real instructions but it was easy to put together. I use it as the gateway into my veggie garden and it serves the purpose nicely. The only trouble I had was putting all four legs into the ground straight enough to make the gates match up evenly. I failed after many attempts and so decided to make the pathway approaching slightly off-kilter and the herb pots on either side slightly out of line and the surrounding brickwork completely uneven. So, now it looks intentionally askew.

Although drain holes are drilled in sporadically, they are not located where needed. Consequently, water gets trapped inside after it rains. The paint has chipped off a corner or two and it is already starting to rust. The gates do not open all the way due to little burrs in the finish. There is no template to assist in placing the ground holes. A few bolts were missing but were supplied promptly. There should be a spike to drive the holes in the ground like the cheaper arches supply.

For the price i was expecting a little better quality. Everything slides together but what holds it together once its upright. I had to drill each connection and insert metal screws to hold it together, not to mention the 2 missing gate hinges that i had to make also. Look elsewhere for better quality.

It was the only resonably priced gated arbor I could find. My nine year old granddaughter and I are making a small reading and fairy garden on one side of our house and I really wanted something gated. We haven't assembled it yet as we are still laying the foundation for our secret garden but we both love the look of the arbor. Delivery was prompt. And we both are anxious to get the arbor up!

One suggestion is that some kind of handle is attached to the box, so the delivery company can better handle the box.

I ordered 2 arbors they came in a timely fashion and although the packages were severly damaged the product was not I am totally satified with the product and the price I paid. Thank You.

Q1: What is the height of the gate from the lowest part of the swoop on the gate to the ground?
A: 27" from the ground to the lowest part of the 1/2 circle.
