The Longevity arbor is constructed of Western Red Cedar, which is naturally resistant to moisture and insects. Leave the cedar wood as it is for the natural weathered grey patina over time, or treat with a weather-resistant stain or clear coat to conserve its original beauty.

Bought this Arbor to complete my Asian theme in my Backyard . Blends Beautifully with my surrounding bushes , deck and patio area ..will buy a metal bench to go underneath it so i can sit and enjoy my adjacent Japanese maple/Rock Garden /water feature . i protected it with an oil based tint and sealant which brings out the richer color of the cedar..( I added the wind chime in the center of the arbor ). Overall very happy with the purchase

THIS ARBOR IS A GREAT DEAL. THE PRICE OF CEDAR WOOD HAS SKYROCKETED. THE WOOD IS SO BEAUTIFUL THAT WE DIDN'T STAIN IT, NOR WILL WE PUT A VINE ON IT BECAUSE WE WANT PEOPLE TO SEE THE NATURAL BEAUTY OF THE ARBOR. IT IS VERY HIGH QUALITY, IT SEEMS EXPENSIVE TO PAY THIS MUCH FOR AN ARBOR BUT IT IS WORTH EVERY PENNY! IT TOOK MY HUSBAND ONLY ABOUT 30 MINUTES TO PUT IT TOGETHER. I AM AN AVID GARDENER AND I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS ARBOR.
