Enjoying the cozy confines of a pergola arbor in your backyard has never been easier. The Standard Cedar Pergola includes all the wood and hardware you need along with simple instructions for assembly. Best of all, this pergola stands securely on its own, so you won't have to hassle with concrete.
This pergola is crafted entirely of durable cedar wood, which offers natural resistance to harsh outdoor conditions. The fresh aroma of cedar also functions as a mild insect repellent. If left untreated, this pergola arbor will weather to a rustic, silvery gray patina without compromising the structural integrity. To keep it looking new, we recommend treating it with linseed oil, seal, or wood stain after a season of exposure.
This product abides by the standards set forth by the Sustainable Forestry Initiative, a comprehensive forestry management program committed to environmental responsibility and sound business practices.

The wood is uniform red to brown in color but fades to a silver grey when used externally. It is relatively soft wood which can be easily marked and has a distinctive aroma. The grain is usually straight and displays prominent growth rings. Cedar needs to be re-stained every season in order to avoid fading to silver grey.
