I bought two of these trellises to use for my climbing roses at the entry area to my home. I was very pleased with the ease of attaching both trellises together and as my climbers grow, it will provide a lovely private area as well. The sturdy construction combined with the timeless beauty have made this trellis a fantastic addition to my landscaping design and overall look of my property. Add to that the strength to stand straight despite the high winds where I live and I am convinced this was the perfect trellis for my needs. The fact that it is so beautiful and well made are just the frosting on the cake!

We purchased it as a decoration. I was shocked at the poor quality and construction of the item. The connecting pins didn't line up, we could not attach items because the bolts were poorly cut. If they did screw in, the attachments were lop-sided. The entire piece leans to the left because nothing fit together properly.

We installed one trellis first, and then ended up purchasing a second one as they can be attached together. It does not come with any kind of instructions, but the assembly is fairly self explanatory. Was hoping for a taller trellis; the tallest part of the dimension listed is the top of the finial detail, not the actual lattice work on the trellis, so the actual vine climbing area is shorter than was expected and this was a disappointment. Also, wish that Hayneedle sold the panels separately; they do not, so we ended up buying a whole second trellis. Overall it is attractive and our Virginia creeper and climbing roses will like it.

This trellis is wonderful. No instructions came in the box to assemble but just looking at it, it was very easy to figure out. [...] VERY easy and quick to put together. We loved the first one so much that we ended up order 2 more. They can all be connected as well. We ended up put 4 screens together and then 5 screens together. Loved it.

Q1: What is the height at the center of the curve?
A: 5 ft.
Q2: How is this attached to a wall?
A: Our supplier has provided the following information : You will most likely uses screws and some sort of bracket to secure it to a building. We do not have the hardware to attach these to buildings; we only send what is necessary to mount them into the ground.
