I purchased three of these to install on a blank wall leading to our front door. We had looked everywhere for something that would add to the beauty of the front of our house and add curb appeal. Gotta admit I'm pretty fussy and don't like to make mistakes. Scary to order something without seeing it in person, I am so pleased with the way these trellises look, so happy I took a chance. We installed the middle trellis higher than the two side ones and they look fantastic. Putting the trellises together was a breeze but because we had three of them I had my grandson help me, everything fit together perfectly. I would highly recommend.

Q1: is this free standing?
A: Yes. It is designed such that the bottoms of the posts slide into the tops of the ground anchors, which are included with the purchase of the trellis.
Q2: What are the ground mount anchors that come with this?
A: They are made out of a poly vinyl compound, the same material as the arbor. They are 2 x 2 x 14 inches and are tapered down at one end so as to fit inside the arbor posts.
