Assembly instructions are included with each Dura-Trel product. Please read and follow all instructions. All products come completely fabricated. All items are cut to size, all holes are routed and pilot holes are drilled. All you need to do is put the pieces together with our simple to understand instructions and drawings, and secure with screws or bolts.
This product is virtually maintenance free. To keep clean use soap and water to wipe down. For tougher stains it is recommended to use lacquer thinner.

This trellis is just what I wanted in my garden to support a Butterfly Bush. I painted it with Krylon Fusion paint in a hammered finish. It looks like black wrought iron now and is perfect against my patio wall. Putting it together was easy. All in all I am very satisfied.

Love the design so got two to cover some siding I was tired of looking at. Put them both together rather quickly, and they looked great. Problem came when I went to put the anchors in the ground. Perhaps it was just the ground I was putting them in, but when hammering them down I ended up flattening the tops just enough so that the trellis wouldn't fit. So now I am stuck with one bent anchor in the floor (one I was able to bring up) and an uninstalled trellis. Now I am on a mission to find an alternative way to get these things to stay put.

Overall, we are happy with these trellises. The anchoring system could be improved. Solid, metal posts, rather than the 2-sided L-brackets would be much sturdier, especially on windy days. We are trying to come up with something different on our own. But I'm sure our clematis will love them.

received in timely manneer. Instructions a little hard to understand. Put it together myself in about 1/2 hr. Installed it and entwined my roses through it. Looks great!

Q1: How much of the posts go into the ground?
A: Actually, the ground anchors are what go into the ground, and they are about 18 to 19 inches long. 14 inches goes into the ground and 4 to 5 inches stays above ground.
